Founder

Building blocks workshops was founded and developed by Stephen W. Schwartz AIA, Architect.  Stephen is a graduate of the School of Architecture, at Washington University in St. Louis. Much of the structure of the program is a result of combining architecture and model building to achieve a unique learning experience.

Stephen is a past president of the Newark Suburban chapter of The American Institute of Architects, and many other civic and Educational organizations. He is a licensedArchitect in NJ, NY, CT, MA, PA, DE, NC, VA,&  MD.

DAVID SCHWARTZ

Director of Southwest Operations

 

David Schwartz holds a degree in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and he has 45 years of experience in the Energy Industry in Denver and Houston. His understanding of technology, science and engineering provides special insights for the programs.  Most of his career has been in the marketing and sales of specialized services for energy exploration.  He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Darlene and they have four daughters and 16 grandchildren.

STEPHEN SUTTON

Program Manager

 

We have added a new staff member to our BBW growing family. Mr. Stephen Sutton will serve in presenting programs in the Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. Stephen Sutton resides in Simsbury CT with his wife, Cara and two young daughters, Sydney and Charlye. He graduated from Livingston High School, in New Jersey and holds degrees from Berkeley College and Syracuse University. He has spent over 10 years in the building and design industry. Presently, he works in the family printing business based out of Springfield, MA. When not focusing on his own children, Stephen has involved himself in the local community of teaching Sunday School and volunteering at the elementary school where his children attend.
